Coldwell Banker Premier Waldorf

Jay Lilly is the Broker of Maryland for Coldwell Banker Premier. His entry into real estate sales developed as he began to purchase investment properties and was recruited out of the corporate world into management and sales. A local broker with 5 offices in Charles, St. Mary’s and Prince George’s county realized the ambition, drive, ability to lead, his business acumen and quickly brought him into overseeing his operation. Since, he has spent over 35 years in the real estate industry successfully managing and owning a brokerage and has hired over 200 agents. He also brokered one of the largest commercial sales in Charles County closing at $13M.

In 2006 he achieved the highest ROR in the entire DMV region for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage (CBRB) and reached levels in numerous years naming him into the President’s Circle. In 2008, CBRB had been strategically tightening up office locations and offered Jay the chance to purchase the Waldorf, MD (Charles County) and Lexington Park, MD (St. Mary’s County) offices; rebranding to franchise offices as Coldwell Banker Jay Lilly Real Estate (CBJLRE). The success of the businesses positioned him to purchase office locations in St. Mary’s in 2018 and Charles County in 2021. In 2024, Jay and Coldwell Banker Premier began considering a merger/acquisition that would build resources and tools that would enhance and benefit his staff and agents at CBJLRE. The merger/acquisition concluded late August 2025.

No matter what organization Jay was/is part of, giving back through leadership and service has always been important. He is honored to be a Melvin Jones Fellow in the Lions Club; an emeritus board member of the College of Southern Maryland Foundation after serving for 10 years; president of The Society for the Restoration of Port Tobacco and president of Restorers of Mount Carmel. He also supports a number of scholarships for the College of Southern Maryland and Moravian University.

Having great knowledge and love of history and historical properties, Jay has had many like-minded people reach out when considering purchasing such a property. So while appreciating the past and preservation, he strongly believes in the power that real estate – whether old or new – is a long-term wealth building tool.
